New route roundup

With the global passenger numbers growing by 7.5% last year, and a further 6% anticipated this year, airlines are opening up new routes and expanding services, giving customers more choice and flexibility. Here is Corporate Traveler’s rundown of the latest route news.


The Atlanta based carrier has announced new routes out of Cincinnati, Austin and Seattle. These services are all scheduled to begin in 2018, so check the links for more details.  


United will launch 10 new domestic routes this year, starting April. Hubs in Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York and Washington will be linked to 10 smaller cities in California, Florida, Montana, New York, North Carolina, Oregon and Texas. American Airlines:

American is having a big year for route openings with more than 10 all-new services. All are schedule to begin in 2018, including a shuttle New York and Chicago.

Air Canada:

The Canadian flag-carrier is expanding U.S. operations with new routes from Edmonton to San Francisco, Toronto to Omaha, Vancouver to Sacramento and Montreal to Vancouver and Pittsburgh. For more details, check out their website.
