Comments by Chris Galanty, Flight Centre Travel Group Global Corporate CEO
“It was a record year for TTV and revenue, and the productivity work we've been putting in for a number of years is really showing up in the result.
“This is despite headwinds, including the conflict in the Middle East, which affected businesses across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and parts of Europe. We're operating in a world that keeps throwing curveballs, and our teams navigated that really well.
“The US is the largest travel market in the world, and we still only hold a small share of it. That tells you how much room we have to keep growing there.
“Corporate Traveller was the star of the show this year. It's the only global travel management company built purely around the SME customer.
“What makes it different is the combination of our own technology, a platform called Melon, with a dedicated travel consultant for every customer. Customers get modern tools and real personal service, and FCTG’s buying power behind them too.”
Closer to home, the ANZ Corporate business had its best ever year for both TTV and profit, strengthening its position as the number one player in the local market.
Much of the year's profit growth has come from what Mr Galanty calls “productive operations,” a multi-year effort to modernise the way the business runs.
“We've automated more of the process and given customers the tools to do more themselves when that's what they want.
“What I'm proudest of is that this hasn't come at the expense of service. We hit record SLA, NPS and CSAT scores this year. Productivity and customer experience have moved together, not against each other.
“Our focus is now shifting from productivity to growth. We've done the hard work of transforming the business; now the job is to take this proposition to market and win more customers. We'll be investing more in sales and marketing this year, and next, than we ever have before.
“We're genuinely excited about what AI is doing for us. It's helping us personalise the experience for customers and making our people more productive, and customers are telling us it's leading the industry.
“This was a good year, built on the back of a lot of hard work from our people and a lot of trust from our customers. Now we get to focus on what excites me most, which is growth.”
Comments by Tom Walley, Corporate Traveller Global Managing Director
“Corporate Traveller has always believed business travel is about more than getting people from A to B. It’s about helping businesses grow, supporting travellers on the road, and delivering real value. This year, that commitment has never been stronger.”
“What I’m most proud of, however, is that our success continues to be driven by our people. Our customers continuously tell us it’s the expertise, responsiveness and care of their Travel Managers that make the difference. Whether it’s supporting a complex VIP itinerary or solving a last-minute disruption, our teams consistently go above and beyond.
“That focus on service continues to drive exceptional customer loyalty. This year, we retained 94 per cent of our customers and maintained industry-leading customer satisfaction scores. We now support thousands of VIP travellers around the world who continue to choose Corporate Traveller because they know they’ll receive genuine, personalised support.
“We remain committed to delivering the personalised service that sets Corporate Traveller apart.
“As we look ahead, our priority remains simple: investing in our people, enhancing the technology that supports them, and continuing to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers.
“Thank you to our customers for your trust and partnership. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support your business.
