This week we are profiling Megan Spear, a Client Relationship Manager at Corporate Traveler.

How long have you been with Flight Centre Travel Group?
Just over 4 years now.

What sets Corporate Traveler apart from the rest?
The community we’ve built. We value a work environment that we look forward to being a part of everyday. I know myself, and many others, have formed lifelong friendships working at Corporate Traveler. I believe the strong sense of community within our workforce translates into our service offering, and is why we’re one of the leading Travel Management Companies Globally.

What do you like best about your role?
I thrive off of overcoming new challenges, so I love the aspect of no two days being the same. This role allows me to continuously grow, which pushes me to learn and understand how to adapt in any situation.

What keeps you busy outside your job?
Prior to COVID-19, I traveled as much as I could (it’s my favorite perk of working in this industry). I’m definitely looking forward to traveling again once it’s safe to do so!

What have been your thoughts throughout this time?
It’s been amazing to see everyone at Corporate Traveler come together and work as a team. It really reiterates how great our people are, and how we’ve been able to adapt to support all areas of the business. The travel industry has obviously been hit hard, but that hasn’t deterred us from delivering the support and resources our clients need during this time.

Ways your team has kept motivated?
My fellow CRM’s are awesome! We’ve always been supportive of each other, and the current environment has only amplified that. This time has allowed us to connect more as a team, which has helped us navigate the un-chartered territory we’re currently in.

How you’ve approached business throughout COVID?
This is a difficult time for everyone, so I’ve recognized the importance of taking my CRM hat off, and connecting with clients on a more personal level. There’s also been some uncertainty of what the travel experience will look like post-COVID, so I’ve been focused on providing information and resources to help alleviate any questions or concerns. Ultimately, I want my clients to feel prepared and reassured as they get their travelers back on the road.
