An accomplished executive with a proven track record of success, Sweeney will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of the company’s marketing strategies throughout the country. She will also work closely at times on global brand initiatives, as well as focus on ways to increase online customer adoption of Corporate Traveler’s proprietary digital platform Melon.

“I am truly excited to welcome Kimberly to the Corporate Traveler family and to have her lead our marketing efforts in the United States,” said John Van den Heuvel, President, Corporate Traveler USA. “A highly successful marketing leader, Kimberly’s unique ability to elevate brands and drive strategic value for companies will be instrumental to our continued success.”

Sweeney brings over 15 years of high-level experience working with a number of different B2B and B2C companies across a variety of industries. She most recently served as Senior Vice President at global technology company Markaaz, where she was integral in shaping product positioning, along with driving awareness for the company as one of the leading providers of small business data solutions.

Prior to that, Sweeney led digital marketing as the Vice President of Global Digital and Content Marketing for Dynata, the world’s largest first-party data company for insights, activation, and measurement. Sweeney’s decorated resume also includes nearly five years at Mastercard, where she was responsible for leading strategic growth and social impact marketing initiatives, which included a Webby Award-winning media campaign focused on financial inclusion.

“I’m thrilled for this next chapter in my career with Corporate Traveler and for the opportunity to work for such an innovative company at the forefront of the business travel industry,” said Sweeney. “I am looking forward to bringing my creative vision and years of extensive marketing experience to a company that is poised for tremendous growth going forward.”
