Important Update: Air Canada Strike Notice and Your Travel Plans

CUPE has issued a 72-hour strike notice for Air Canada flight attendants, starting August 16 at 1:00 am ET if no agreement is reached. Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge flights may face gradual cancellations in the days leading up to the strike.

We understand this situation may cause inconvenience and uncertainty. Our priority is ensuring we can fully support travelers with urgent departures while also helping those with later trips make informed decisions. We are monitoring the situation closely and doing everything possible to minimize disruption to your travel.

Action Steps:

If your travel with Air Canada is within the next 72 hours and you require immediate assistance:

Please call your travel manager or email our After-Hours service (ctah@corporatetraveler.us) so we can prioritize your request.

If your travel is NOT within the next 72 hours and is affected by the Air Canada strike:

Please contact your dedicated Travel Manager during regular office hours to review your options.

If you have travel booked with Air Canada between August 15–18, 2025, you may be eligible for Air Canada’s Flexible Rebooking Policy:
  • One free change up to 2 hours before departure (Air Canada-operated flights only)
  • Difference in fare waived if rebooked in the same cabin, to/from the same origin/destination
  • Rebooking window: August 21 – September 12, 2025

For travel beyond August 18, original ticket rules apply unless Air Canada issues further policies.
