Global IT Outage Update

Crowdstrike outage

A technical issue with Crowdstrike is affecting several industries and global companies including airports, airlines, GDSs Cvent and other travel systems. According to CrowdStrike, the underlying cause has now been fixed. However, some residual impact remains, meaning intermittent service disruptions, flight delays and long airport queues can be expected over the next 24 to 48 hours.

Corporate Traveler’s travel consultants are available 24/7. However, please only contact them if your travel is within the next 24 to 48 hours, as our consultants are extremely busy.

Emergencies: We are prioritizing emergency calls and would advise that only travelers in an apparent emergency contact the team for assistance while this outage is being resolved.

Non-emergencies: Our teams are still available by email and phone, but you may experience longer waiting times.

Travelers are advised to arrive at the airport at least 2 to 3 hours prior to their scheduled departure times.

Melon remains unaffected by the outage, and our teams are working to support impacted customers. Connections to major global distribution systems (GDS) have been restored, but we are experiencing lengthy hold times with major airlines and other travel service providers.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding as we manage this challenging situation. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we work diligently to ensure all travelers arrive safely at their destination.
