Qantas has announced the replacement of all B747 aircraft with A380 models on the in demand Sydney-Dallas/Fort Worth route.
The move gives business travellers a seat on the largest passenger aircraft on the world's longest route.
As a result of the aircraft replacement, the arrival time of the Melbourne flight into Dubai has changed. This means Qantas will be able to offer four times the number of onward connections through to Europe.
In particular, the Sydney-Dallas service has become one of the airline's most important gateways since the route was first launched in 2011.
As a major hub for Qantas partner American Airlines and the connecting point for many more destinations in the United States, Canada and Mexico, timely arrivals into Dallas are more important than ever.
